Williams Forest Products, Inc. is a timber dealer company, which means that we work with all types of landowners who own timberland. WFP was started by Harold Williams in 1997. After being employed for 20 years by hardwood sawmills, pine sawmills and papermills, Harold realized that there was a need for a company that would work directly with the timberland owner-logger-mill.

We realize that the whole process begins with the landowner who owns the timberland. We strive to understand the reasons why each landowner owns their timberland and their goals for their property, because everyone has different goals that they are trying to attain. Our clients have timberland from 10 acres to 25,000 acres; they are private individuals, and corporations.

Our foresters are registered in North and South Carolina. Our staff has memberships in the Society of American Foresters, North and South Carolina ForestryAssociations, South Carolina Timber Producers Association, Ducks Unlimited.

• All forestry operations contribute significantly to the environmental quality of the Carolinas’ landscape and economic well being of its citizens.

• Actively use Best Management Practices to protect water quality.

• WFP requires all logging contractors to attend BMP training program.

• WFP and its’ logging contractors will use appropriate harvesting, logging and
  road building practices.

• WFP and its’ logging contractors will not violate state water quality standards
  under the state Pollution Control Act.

• WFP will support and help coordinate private landowners’ reforestation efforts.

• WFP will support multiple use management on all public lands
